Versioned playbooks
Edit in the app; every save is a version you can look back at.
Ansible
Ansible comes inside the Zedlin server, and your servers are already its inventory, with their credentials. There's no control node to keep, no vault file to pass around and no SSH key on a laptop.
What you get
Edit in the app; every save is a version you can look back at.
Run on the servers and groups you choose, using the credentials Zedlin already holds.
See what would change, and how, before anything changes.
Follow each host as it runs, and read any past run later.
Start a new run with only the failed and unreachable hosts.
Running and editing need the right level and an approval on your device. Every run is in the activity log.
A host only your laptop can reach still runs, through the device that started the job.
Targets need Python 3.9 or later; Windows hosts run through raw commands.
How it works
Create a playbook in the app, or let an AI assistant draft it through Zedlin's MCP, with your approval.
Choose servers, turn on check mode if you like and approve the run. The job continues on the server even if you close the app.
See every host's result, then retry the ones that failed.
Ansible runs on a Zedlin server you host yourself. Write to us to try it early.
